Michelle here again, wanted to finally get off my butt and write this post. Been meaning to share this with you all for a while now, but haven’t had the time with the kids running around all over the place. I wanted to share with you guys this nifty little site I stumbled across where you can get romantic movies online. Basically it’s a bunch of free movies, many of the romance variety, but thousands in total ranging from Foreign, to Action, Horror to Comedy, and everything in between. It’s totally legal, none of that filesharing stuff that can get you into trouble with the FBI. If you’re looking for the actual site and want to skip my review, just click here.
Just a heads up. The site looks very action packed. You’ll see tons of pictures of the movies they carry, and it looks like its nothing but a testosterone fest. I guess they just target their website towards guys, and action movie fans, but trust me when I say, there are HUNDREDS of movies in the romance genre. You’ll have to go to Drama to see some, and Foreign to see others.
Ok, so let’s get down to it. What exactly is this site? Basically, it’s a huge collection of movies that you can either download, and keep forever, or stream to your computer/tv (if you have that capability). When I say huge, I really do mean huge. There are thousands of movies here that you can go through. Best part is, unlike Blockbuster and Netflix, you don’t have to pay a monthly subscription. You can have unlimited access for 2 years for something like 40 bucks (last time I checked, I bought this about a year ago). If you wanted, you could just download everything off of their website, and then watch it whenever you have the time. Or watch the movies one at a time, or however you want to do it.
There is 1 thing I don’t like. You don’t get any actual discs here. Everything is done via downloading and media players and stuff. If you want to actually watch romance movies with a disc, you are out of luck here. Personally, it makes no difference to me since I have my laptop hooked up to my TV with an HDMI cable. I get to watch the movies in High Definition and not have to worry about scratched discs or returning the movies on time. Theres a little more information on that here.
So, the basics. This site has thousands of movies, including hundreds of romantic ones that you can snuggle up on the sofa and watch for a cheap 1 time fee. I’d suggest you gals give it a go, totally worth it in my personal opinion. Been using it for over a year without any problems. Plus, you get to KEEP all the movies for free, AND it’s 100% legal, AND there are no monthly fees. Can’t really beat that can ya?
